THE BRIEF
To manage an RFP process for Kempinski Hotels to identify the best fit ‘next generation’ Cloud PMS for their global portfolio of hotels
HOW WE HELPED
We implemented a formal RFP process and working with a key stakeholder group, we developed the unique business requirements for Kempinski Hotels. Based on a knowledge and experience of the market we identified vendors with broad capability to align to Kempinski Hotels needs. We RFP the vendors and using a Balance Scorecard approach we were able to reduce the ‘long tail’ of vendors to a short list. We then undertook a deeper dive on the vendors capabilities (functional / non-functional / commercial) enabled us to short list vendors. We developed use cases and ‘show and tell’ elements specific for vendor presentations. This was followed by a ‘test and verify’ process which enabled users to validate the user ability of the systems.
